Eat them for breakfast (or breakfast for dinner) with your favorite toppings. INGREDIENTS 1 ¾ cups Bob’s Red Mill ® Whole Wheat Flour 2 Tbsp Sugar 1 tsp Kosher Salt 1 ½ tsp Baking Powder ½ tsp Baking Soda 1 ½ –2 cups Water or Milk 2 Eggs 2 Tbsp Oil or melted Butter (3 Tbsp for waffles) 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional) INSTRUCTIONS • Preheat a well-oiled skillet over medium-high heat or preheat a waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions. • In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Set aside. • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together water or milk, eggs, oil or melted butter and vanilla extract (if using). Add dry ingredients and whisk until just incorporated; do not over mix. • For pancakes, portion batter by ¼ cup scoops onto hot skillet and cook 3–5 minutes per side, until cooked through. For waffles, cook according to manufacturer’s instructions. Serve hot. Makes 8–10 pancakes or 4–6 waffles.
