Let the kids help make their own creations and add their own personal touches. Ingredients 1 medium sweet Apple (Fuji, Braeburn, Honeycrisp), rinsed and dried ¼ cup Sunflower Seed Butter, see recipe below ¼ cup Bob’s Red Mill® Gluten Free Muesli Instructions 1. Carefully core the apple and slice cross-wise into eight rings (about ¼-inch thick). 2. Spread half a tablespoon of sunflower seed butter onto each apple ring. Set aside four rings. 3. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon muesli on each of the remaining apple rings. Top with the reserved apple rings, sunflower seed butter side down, to make four tasty sandwiches! Sunflower Seed Butter Ingredients 2 cups Bob’s Red Mill® Premium Shelled Sunflower Seeds ½ tsp Salt 2 tsp Sweetener, optional Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread sunflower seeds evenly onto a baking sheet and toast until light brown, 15–20 minutes. Let cool at least 20 minutes. 2. Place cooled sunflower seeds, salt and sweetener (if using), in the bowl of a food processor. Process until very smooth, about 15 minutes. Makes about 1 cup.
